All applicants must complete the following steps to apply for the 2024/2025 academic year:


STEP 1:   If you want to calculate your chances of getting into Jan Kochanowski University, start the application process by contacting the official Recruitment Office by email: recruitment@mdkielce.edu.pl

  • Please attach the scan of your high school / secondary school diploma with transcript of grades 
  • We will get back to you with the feedback regarding your admission chances and assist you through all the required steps of the application process

STEP 2:   

Register online at: https://medicineschool.ujk.edu.pl/admin/register.php

Upload the following required documents to your online account:

1.


A completed application form

2.

A letter of motivation (instructions & samples)

3.

A copy of the official high school/secondary school diploma which authorizes you to enter post-secondary studies, the transcript of grades. 


Each document must be translated into English. The translation must be done by an English translator accredited by the government of the country of issue of the document(s) or a sworn translator from the EU (if there is a sworn translator institution in your country)

Documents issued originally in English do not require translations


Health certificate completed by a physician stating the applicant is fit for medical studies, with a copy of vaccination records for the Hepatitis B (HBV) and Covid-19

Vaccine against Hepatitis B is mandatory. In exceptional cases, individual doses can be taken later. If you have any doubts, please contact us.

Vaccine against COVID-19 is strongly recommended.

STEP 3:   Pay the application fee in the amount of 85 PLN* (non-refundable administrative fee) via bank transfer to the following account:

*85 PLN is equivalent to ca. 22 USD (the exact value depends on the current daily exchange rate). On the day you plan to complete the bank transfer, please check with your local bank to ensure the exact equivalent amount for the application fee will be transferred into the Polish currency (Polish Zloty - PLN).

You can submit Payment Confirmation of the Application Fee in the recruitment system 


Important dates:

  • The next intake begins September 11th, 2024. The deadline to submit the application documents and pay the application fee is September 20th, 2024

Important information for accepted students:


Language certificate confirming proficiency in the English language (at least B2 level)

The list of certificates recognized by the university is provided here . The online tests like Duolingo etc. are not recognized


As an alternative, one can submit a confirmation that their previous education was conducted in English

 Certificate of no criminal record

Due to recent changes in legal regulations in Poland, all students who hold citizenship other than the Republic of Poland should submit a certificate of no criminal record.

Such certificates, depending on the country of origin, can be obtained from District Courts, police stations, or through electronic systems.

This certificate is essential for your eligibility to participate in clinical placements in the upcoming academic year.



For the 2024/2025 academic year, there is a limit of 50 seats.
