Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce has been selected among the 30 laureates of the "Regional Excellence Initiative" program. The project entitled "Together Let's Create the Future - Interdisciplinarily for the Region" has been granted funding in the amount of over 12 million Polish zlotys by the decision of the Ministry of Science.
The aim of the RID program is to support outstanding academic institutions in the regions in the quality development of scientific activities and education in areas of significant importance for individual regions.
The exact amount of funding received was PLN 12,353,248.00 (Around 4 MLN USD). The project implementation will start in 2024 and will conclude in 2027.
